Bani is a HCPC-registered speech and language therapist with extensive NHS experience including at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square, as well as broad experience in independent practice. She offers comprehensive, individually tailored therapy for adults with a range of speech and language difficulties.
She has developed particular expertise in working with adults affected by stroke, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions. Examples of difficulties treated are aphasia, apraxia of speech, dysarthria, and cognitive-communication disorders.
Bani offers evidence-based, person-centred care to clients. Her ongoing NHS work means she remains closely connected to current clinical practice and is well placed to liaise with GPs, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams involved in a client’s care where needed.
Therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the individual. Bani takes time to understand each client’s goals, circumstances, and priorities and works collaboratively with clients and their families throughout the process.
