Debbie qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2003 and has over 20 years experience. Since graduating, she has specialised in working with children across many different settings, including mainstream schools, community clinics and special school settings. She gained invaluable experience working with children with a significant range of speech and language needs during her 14 years in the NHS. Her current role comprises of assessing and supporting children with a range of difficulties, including language delay and disorder, and also speech sound difficulties employed by a mainstream school for 2 days a week, She works as an Independent Speech and Language Therapist with children for the other 3 days each week. She works in pre-school settings, schools, and private settings, supporting staff and parents to ensure the children’s speech and language skills progress.
