Hi, I’m Claire, founder of Speak Freely: Speech Therapy & Coaching, providing specialist support for people who stammer. 

I have been a qualified Speech and Language Therapist since 2008 and have over 15 years experience working for the NHS and more recently with private clients. 

  I believe that stammering is a speech difference, not a defect and that a person who stammers deserves to be heard and take up as much space as anyone else. With this mind, the support I offer focuses on helping the client to speak with more ease and confidence and to feel free to show up unapologetically as their true, unique self! 

  I currently offer face to face sessions for children living in Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas and video call sessions for adults and those who are a located a bit further away.

 I look forward to hearing from you!
