I am a specialist Speech and Language Therapist with. over 10 years experience working with preschool and school-aged children with complex special educational needs.

Whilst raising a family of three, I owned a sign language franchise, teaching children from birth to 5 years to sign in nurseries, preschools and specialist preschool settings. I am a Makaton trainer.

I am passionate about facilitating and empowering children to communicate their wants, needs and desires using speech, body language, gestures, sign language, pictures, symbols or a robust communicative AAC system, all through play and having fun.

I work closely with families, discovering the most effective methods of communication, enabling the child to flourish and reach their communicative potential. Limited appointments available in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire.

I am unable to carry out formal assessments and write reports for the EHCP. All therapeutic advice and interventions is based on direct informal observations and discussions with caregivers.
