I have over 14 years experience working with babies through to secondary aged children with speech, language and communication difficulties. I can also provide support for babies and children with chewing and swallowing difficulties.

The children I typically see may have

– few spoken words or sounds/not use speech to communicate
– difficulties with understanding what is said to them
– difficulties with interacting or playing
– difficulties with saying the correct sounds or making themselves understood
– developmental delay/ disorders.

I can provide assessment, setting targets alongside parents, regular therapy sessions (usually weekly or fortnightly) or adhoc sessions, training in schools/nurseries.

Usually I see children in their home or school/nursery, but we can do therapy anywhere, (e.g.soft play, at the park).

I see children in and around Faversham, Canterbury, Whitstable and Maidstone but can travel further if required.
Unfortunately I do not work privately in other areas of Swale or Medway due to my contract with the NHS.
