I am a specialist Speech and Language Therapist and certified Auditory Verbal Therapist (Cert.AVT) with over 23 years’ experience working in the field of Deafness. I specialise in working with children from birth to 18 years but have recently started working with adults as well.

I have experience working with individuals with complex needs including Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties and Social-Emotional Difficulties.

I take a person-centred approach to therapy and work collaboratively with the client or their parents/carers and their multidisciplinary team. With younger clients, parents/carers and educators are coached to maximise listening and communication opportunities in the home and education settings. For adult clients, I offer 1:1 work on developing understanding through listening and I support them to manage their listening and communication needs in the home, workplace and community.
