I have practiced as a speech and language therapist for a long time working with adults.
Over 10 years ago I was asked to provide a special service for people who had ongoing communication difficulties from brain damage.
These people had sometimes already had therapy but many were struggling with enduring difficulties. Any change in the ability to communicate can be a traumatic experience for both the individual and their companions. Complete restoration of communication is not always possible but establishing a clear understanding about the difficulties and how they should be managed is.
My service is in three stages;
*I see the individual to analyse the problem and describe my findings to the individual and family.
* I consider what can be improved and work on that.
* I then offer sessions within a group setting.
I work in central Hereford and can offer flexible days and times.
Please contact for further details about my practice.
