I am a paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with over 17 years experience in assessing and supporting children with a broad range of speech, language and communication needs.

 I have worked with children from 2-19 years in a variety of settings, including preschool clinics, a complex needs nursery and specialist SLCN provisions at nursery, primary and secondary level.  Before I started my independent practice, I was a Lead Therapist within a specialist school for pupils with specific learning and language difficulties including Dyslexia, Developmental Language Disorder and Autistic Spectrum Condition.   I am passionate about the benefits of early intervention and play in supporting language development. I always consider a child holistically and value working collaboratively with families, education settings and other professionals, to ensure therapy and communication targets are tailored to the individual child, as well as being affirming, meaningful and functional.  Find me on Instagram @beckyharcussalt.
