Aoife is a highly specialist speech and language therapist with 10+ years experience supporting adults with neurological conditions. She works in private practice alongside her NHS role at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.  Aoife helps people with aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech, cognitive-communication difficulties, and swallowing challenges as a result of neurological conditions such as stroke, brain tumours, neuromuscular disease, or movement disorders. She also has specialist experience with secretion management, tracheostomy, awake neurosurgery, and is trained in LSVT.

Aoife believes in compassionate, evidence-based therapy grounded in research. Her approach is collaborative and person-centred, working alongside you and your family to support you through complex neurological conditions with expertise and care.

Aoife has published in peer-reviewed journals, is a regular presenter at conferences and teaches at university level.

Aoife provides home visits across Central and South East London.
