Amy is a Principal Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) with over 15 years’ experience across settings and in multidisciplinary teams. She practices independently as well as part of a leading tertiary NHS service for children with complex neurodevelopmental conditions.

Amy has extensive experience in diagnosis and therapeutic input for children and young people with diagnosed or suspected Autism as well as those with language and learning needs.

Amy has completed extensive postgraduate training in evidence-based interventions such as PACT (Paediatric Autism Communication Therapy) and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).

Amy has a record of leading and influencing practice at a national level, for example as co-founder of a national Clinical Excellence Network for SLTs specialising in diagnosing Autism and other Neurodevelopmental differences.

Please note as of March 2024 Amy does not have capacity for further intervention cases, though she is able to offer neurodevelopmental assessments alongside the team at Harwood Child Psychology https://harwoodchildpsychology.co.uk/
