Actively taking new clients

I’m passionate about helping young people feel understood, confident and heard. I find creative ways to connect, particularly with those who may feel unsure about support or have had difficult experiences.

My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, neurodivergent-affirming and collaborative, working in partnership with parents and others. I value different ways of thinking and communicating, and I create a safe, respectful space where young people can explore and understand their communication needs or diagnosis in an empowering, age-appropriate way. Together, we identify strengths, challenges and practical strategies, helping them feel confident in who they are and able to ask for support they need.

With over 25 years’ experience as a Speech and Language Therapist across NHS learning disability teams, special and mainstream schools/colleges, and alternative provisions, I understand the varied challenges young people face.

I offer short-term assessment, advice and therapy. I’m also a clinical supervisor, providing collaborative, reflective supervision for therapists and assistants.
