I have an extensive and unique skill set with experience that is in keeping with an experienced speech and language therapist with a background in primary education. I am a reflective practitioner and an effective communicator. I love to listen, learn, develop my professional skills, and keep up to date with current literature. I create opportunities to put my learning into practice, reflect on opportunities and adapt plans for future practice. I believe that communication is the foundation to life long learning and love to work collaboratively with educators to improve opportunities for children and families. I know that children learn best through relationship and experiential learning opportunities. Currently studying for a Masters in Clinical Research at Plymouth University, I am an actively involved in making positive changes for children, their families and future speech and language therapists.
