I have over 20 years experience in working with children and their families, both in the NHS and independently and have worked in a variety of settings.
Over the years, I have developed a passion for working with children with speech disorders. I’m trained to use various treatment approaches including the Nuffield Dyspraxia Program, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), The Cycles Phonology Approach and others. I also have additional knowledge of orofacial myofunctional disorders.
Alongside this, I also have experience in working with children with selective mutism. Very often, this work is indirect (ie through parents and/or school staff) and this can therefore be carried out effectively online.
I am passionate about my work with children, and strive to work creatively and holistically to provide treatment that enables the child to become the very best communicator they can be.
