STEP 1 - FILL IN YOUR DETAILS
Choose your type of membership
1) Affiliate Member: Speech and Language Therapists registered with RCSLT and HCPC but don’t have the relevant experience. You might be working towards the RCSLT framework for NQP or practitioners returning to practice. Affiliate members must work under the supervision of a full ASLTIP member.

2) Full Membership: Speech and Language Therapists who are registered with RCSLT and HCPC and have two recent and consecutive years of post-graduate experience.

Our website www.asltip.com has a find a therapist database that can be searched by the public. You can create a member profile and any enquiries for therapy will come straight to your email address. We also use your email to keep you updated of all our activities and benefits.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not include the RCSLT and HCPC documentation referred to above, it will not be possible to process your application.
Data Protection Act
The information you provide on this form will be processed by ASLTIP and will be used for:
1. Inclusion on the ASLTIP list of independent therapists given to the general public (unless otherwise indicated to the office, or you are a restricted member).
2. Inclusion on the ASLTIP databases currently held on its website and on the internal database at the administration office.
3. Inclusion in the online search if you choose to be a website member (see above) and are currently available.
4. Distribution of information in regard to ASLTIP’s services, activities, complaints procedure, etc.
5. Any Member Searches available to other ASLTIP members within the secure, password-protected Members Area of the ASLTIP website.

STEP 2 of 3 - FEES AND HOW TO PAY
Membership runs for 12 months from your joining month and we'll be back in touch when it's time to renew.

We’re working towards automated processes, but for now it’s manual (or should we say womanual).

In the next few days, you’ll get an invoice via email from [email protected] on behalf of Jemma Phillips (remember to check your spam).

You can pay it by bank transfer or with the card payment link. Direct Debit is also an option, but as this takes up to 6 weeks we strongly advise against it.

The initial joining fee is £150.00, with the annual renewal reduced to £110.00

STEP 3 of 3 - WEBSITE LOG IN DETAILS & MEMBERSHIP CARDS
Once your payment is received, we’ll check your documents and set you up on our website.

You’ll receive an email from [email protected] with your log in details.

We've gone digital so you'll receive your membership card via an email link.

We know that working in IP you'll probably be asked for ID in some settings, but ASLTIP membership cards can't be and have never been a form of ID. We have lots of advice on this X

When it comes to logging in I know....*
- 3 to 5 working days AFTER I've paid my invoice, website log in details will be sent to me.
- I'll receive a digital membership card (and the oceans and seas will send their thanks).
