ABOUT ME

I’m a dedicated and empathic therapist with nine years experience working with adults and children with a range of speech, language and communication needs. I currently work with primary age and early years children, but I also enjoy working with secondary aged pupils. My areas of specialism are early intervention and Autism, and I am a Natural Language Acquisition Trained therapist (with Meaningful Speech). I have also carried out recent professional development in sensory integration and use a sensory approach in my sessions (trained with Jessie Ginsberg Sensory SLP). I am a neurodiversity affirming therapist and I do not support practices that encourage the suppressing of neurodivergent traits.

I am also undergoing some professional development in teaching reading using the Orton Gillingham method (training with Elizabeth Doherty the Reading SLP).
