Hello I am Ashleigh a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist and Director of The Therapy Tree a small company offering Speech & Language Therapy, enabling and specialist support workers. 

For over a decade I have specialised working with neurodiverse children and young people who have complex needs and require access to Alternative & Augmentative Communication (AAC) methods. I have trained with Gayle Porter to attain Advanced PODD Practitioner certification. I have also trained in gestalt language processing and natural language acquisition. Additionally I can work with children who have eating, drinking & swallowing challenges including sensory based difficulties and oral aversion. 

I use neurodiverse affirming practices and work from an understanding of the social model of disability. The therapy I offer is focused on the development of functional skills in natural contexts using an immersive, holistic and relationship based approach to support wellbeing as well as generalisation of skills into daily life.
