Hello I live in Eastbourne.

I have 20+ years experience working in NHS, academic and third sector settings. My specialism is with adults living with communication changes after stroke, brain injury or neurological illness. My PhD focused on supporting people to have more enjoyable everyday conversations. Living well with a communication change is a team effort, wherever possible therapy needs to include family and friends. I can work with people on underlying changes in their language, speech and thinking skills, but it is also so important to work out tips and tricks to make communication as good as it can be throughout your rehabilitation journey with family, friends and work. I am also trained in Speak Out!™ for people living with speech changes due to Parkinson’s. For more information please visit my website: www.firlebtherapies.co.uk
