I have over 25 years’ experience as an SLT. I offer a dedicated, expert-level service specifically for children and young people who have Autism and Social Communication Disorders; I provide intervention and support for a range of speech, language and communication difficulties e.g. speech, language, functional communication, interpersonal/social skills, problem-solving, planning and organization. I also provide an assessment-only service to secondary school+ aged children with Autism/Social Communication Disorders. I provide training and support to families, education and out-of-school provision staff. I support family and settings in the development and implementation of supportive systems e.g. visual structure, lo-tech augmentative communication, curriculum differentiation. I provide assessments and advice for intervention planning and EHC Plan purposes. I provide input in the child’s home, school and other significant environments.
