Speech and Language Therapist in London
He has extensive experience working in the paediatric field, and has worked across a variety of settings. He mainly specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorder but also has experience working with Speech sounds, EHCP reports/annual reviews, mainstream school work, Developmental Language Disorder, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
Joseph also has experience with Orofacial Myofunctional disorders (I.e. maloclusion, oral breathing, atypical and adapted swallow, chewing disorders, articulatory disorders secondary to orofacial difficulties, etc).
Joseph also works with Adults with Voice Disorders and Acquired Language Disorders (Aphasia) as well as Acquired Speech Disorders (Dysarthria).
Joseph is Dysphagia trained and has experience working with Adults with dysphagia. He has worked in the community and in mental health inpatient units.
Jose is originally from Portugal and can deliver therapy is both English and Portuguese. Joseph also speaks Spanish.
