Jacqueline Gaile is a specialist SLT providing comprehensive assessment and intervention for children and young adults with difficulties in social communication arising from pragmatic language impairment, autism, Asperger’s syndrome, or language disorder. Jacqueline delivers highly individualised intervention for social communication difficulties encompassing goals for social understanding, pragmatic language and high level language processing difficulties. Jacqueline is a researcher and is joint author of the SCIP Manual, a theoretical and practical manual describing an evidence based approach (SCIP) to the assessment and management of school-aged children with social communication disorders. Jacqueline has presented at national and international conferences on the Social Communication Intervention Project, a randomised controlled trial of intervention, now closed.
