I have over 18 years experience working with adult clients in NHS and private settings. I currently work part-time as a senior lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy alongside independent practice.
I am experienced in working with clients who stammer, have voice difficulties or have communication and swallowing difficulties due to neurological conditions such as Stroke, Brain Injury, M.S., M.N.D., Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia and disorders of consciousness.
I am trained to deliver Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) and McNeil Dysphagia Therapy Programme (MDTP) and have also completed training in specific voice therapy techniques such as VoiceCraft. I undertake medico-legal work in the field of neurological disorders including as an expert witness. My particular interest is in communication difficulties after stroke specifically aphasia and this is the field in which I carried out my PhD research.
I offer home visits within London, Essex or Kent, online sessions or appointments at my clinic in London..
