I hold a person first philosophy and work with warmth, care and understanding.

I work mainly with older children, teens and young adults offering a flexible and collaborative approach to therapy and assessment. In valuing each young person’s individuality, experiences and preferences, you can expect me to be fully engaged and alongside as we work together. I will listen carefully, be guided by their goals and pace as well as nurture their creativity and resourcefulness. I am committed to inclusive practice which respects and affirms diversity of identity, ability and background. Maintaining high standards of professional practice, I bring my qualifications and experience as a speech and language therapist, specialist teacher/assessor and person-centred pluralistic counsellor. I currently have limited availability for home, school or college-based assessments and welcome enquiries on a no obligation basis.
