Morwenna specialises in evidence based or “best practice” treatment. Her interests are the assessment and treatment of severe or progressive disorders, stroke and brain injury. She also enjoys unpicking subtle, difficult to quantify disabilities. She worked as a Regional Care Advisor for the M.N.D. Association and provides LSVT™ for people living with Parkinson’s disease. She worked for many years in both regional brain injury units and community rehabilitation settings.
Morwenna’s PhD was based around respiratory assessment in swallowing problems. Her post doctorate was in Brain Computer Interface in aphasia. She is a nationally recognised specialist in swallowing problems including videofluroscopy assessments. She works as an Expert Witness, providing medico legal assessments and reports nationally and internationally in high value cases. She is also available for intermediary, safeguarding, fitness to practice enquiries and expert reports for The Coroner’s Court. She is confident working with interpreters.
