I provide Speech and Language Therapy treatment to adults and children with acquired brain injury within specialist rehabilitation units and to those involved in personal injury claims. I undertake ongoing assessment of communication and swallowing (dysphagia), identifying need and setting person-centred goals to promote independence. I treat clients with a range of communication difficulties including expressive and receptive language difficulties, motor speech problems and cognitive communication disorder. I have experience in implementing and supporting with AAC, with a range of methods from low to high tech, with both children and adults.

I have experience providing education and training to families, school staff and support workers to promote communication and eating and drinking skills. I also facilitate Mental Capacity Assessments, in which I modify required information to support understanding and expression.
