Hi, I’m Kate and I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2003.

I have specialised in infant feeding and dysphagia for the past 10+ years and have worked with families both in hospital settings and at home, particularly with babies and children with underlying health needs or complex diagnosis’.

I am dual qualified as a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist and Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

I offer assessment, support and advice with a particular interest in:

– Breastfeeding &/or bottle feeding difficulties

– Weaning and progress with starting solids

– Difficulties with eating and/or drinking (dysphagia)

– Early interaction and communication (including newborn behavioural observations, early language screening and therapy for children from 6 months – 3 years)

– Combined feeding plans for babies and children requiring tube feeding (e.g. NG/PEG)

I can also make onward referrals for additional support e.g. neonatal/paediatric dietitian.
