I specialise in working with adults with acquired speech, communication and swallowing difficulties. I have considerable NHS experience of working with adults with acquired neurological conditions including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, MND, HD and brain injury. I work closely with clients to understand their priorities and goals to support engagement and motivation. Therapy targets are jointly set with you.
Following assessment, treatment includes evidence based rehabilitation exercises, and / or targeted strategies, including alternative communication methods.
I also have experience of working with adults with voice difficulties and ASD.
I have experience of working in client’s homes, care homes, clinic, rehabilitation wards and acute hospitals.
