Aimee Carroll
I currently work within the NHS part time, specialising in Early Years services. I also work independently. Prior to this, I worked in Australia, where I primarily supported families and educators within early childhood education settings.
I also spent four years working in a specialist clinic for children and adults who stammer. During this time, I developed expertise in evidence-based interventions and completed training in the Lidcombe Program, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), interventions for school aged children who stammer and the Camperdown Program for adults who stammer.
I have worked extensively with children with autism and those presenting with speech sound difficulties as well as language difficulties, supporting the development of effective communication skills across a range of settings and needs and empowering parents to support their child’s communication skills.
