Are you attending the RCSLT conference later this month? Several of our members are presenting papers and sessions at the conference. This is an excellent example of the reach of the membership across various clinical and academic areas.
Take the opportunity if you are attending to network with your fellow ASLTIP members. We will also be having an ASLTIP stand, which will be hosted during the tea breaks and lunch by ASLTIP members, including many of the members listed below – so stop by and say hello; or better still contact [email protected] to offer your time to help.
Here’s a guide to some of the sessions featuring ASLTIP members:
- Gillie Stoneham who is a Senior Lecturer at the University of St Mark and St John in Plymouth, is presenting in the Clinical Education strand “Praxis Makes Perfect: A blended learning approach for developing undergraduate leadership in the workplace”
- A number of members are among the team presenting the workshop: Research in developmental speech impairment: What questions should we be asking? including Dr Jan Broomfield, Dr Debbie Sell and Dr Yvonne Wren. Dr Sell will also be presenting a session on cleft lip and palate later in the conference.
- Nabiah Sohail’s presentation is “Exploring the validity, reliability and effectiveness of the Profiling Outcomes Across Time (POAT) tool” in the Outcome Measures session.
- “Working with the views of children with speech, language and communication needs” presented by Dr Rosalind Merrick, is one of the presentations during the SLCN in children stream.
