I have worked with children and adults in the NHS and privately. I work as a voice therapist in the NHS (adults and children). In my independent practice I see patients with the following issues:
– Voice issues in adults / children, including muscle tension dysphonia and nodules (I also provide Lee Silverman Voice Treatment – LSVT – for patients with Parkinson’s disease who suffer from reduced vocal volume);
– Language delay and social communication difficulties in children / teenagers; speech sound disorders in children with speech difficulties such as fronting (producing /t/ and /d/ instead of /k/ and /g/) and lisps, and adults who lisp or have difficulties with the /r/ sound;
– Stammering;
– Accent modification for international clients who wish to improve their English pronunciation and/or vocal projection and presentation skills in order to increase their confidence and naturalness when communicating in English.
ASLTIP’s membership has been growing rapidly since 1989. We are a support organisation run by our members. The executive board is always grateful for new members and new ideas.
