I am a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with over 20 years experience working with children, young people and their families. I have extensive experience working with a wide range of communication difficulties. My primary area of specialism is supporting individuals on the Autism Spectrum. I have worked in a range of environments including clinics; pre-schools; mainstream schools; special schools and family homes. I have also been the Lead Speech and Language Therapist at a non-maintained special school for children aged 5-19 with Autism. I have worked with CAMHS as part of their diagnostic team supporting families before, during and after receiving a diagnosis of Autism for their child. I have also been part of a Flexible Education team supporting young people who are out of school. I believe every child has the potential to develop their communication skills with the right support and team around them.
