I am a Clinical Specialist in paediatric dysphagia with over 25 years’ NHS experience supporting babies, children and their families.
I help with feeding and swallowing difficulties from birth through weaning and beyond, including support for children with complex medical needs. My approach is calm, compassionate and family-centred, always sensitive to the challenges mealtimes can bring. Support is available through home visits or online.
Alongside my clinical work, I have taught nationally on the Midlands Paediatric/ALD dysphagia course since 2015. I also provide clinical supervision for SLTs working with babies, children and young people with eating, drinking and swallowing needs. Supervision offers a safe and supportive space to grow confidence, strengthen clinical reasoning, and work towards RCSLT EDS competencies, while also protecting wellbeing.
I am passionate about sharing knowledge so SLTs can provide the best possible care, and families can feel confident that their children are safe, supported and understood.
