I have experience supporting children and young people with a range of communication needs, including language disorders, speech sound disorders, social communication differences, selective mutism and children who use alternative and augmentative forms of communication (AAC).
I have worked in a range of settings, such as special schools, mainstream schools (primary and secondary), additional resource provisions, clinics and home settings. I take a client and family-centred approach, adapting therapy to meet each child’s individual needs, while keeping sessions child-led and engaging. My aim is to build children’s confidence and communication skills through meaningful, functional goals, while helping families feel confident supporting communication at home.
Assessment and intervention provided in the child’s home.
