I am a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with over 8 years of experience. I have worked in a variety of settings including mainstream schools, pupil referral units, clinic, resource bases within mainstream schools and youth justice service offering assessment, therapy and training.
I enjoy connecting and delivering person-centred sessions, helping young people become confident communicators to support their educational attainment, emotional wellbeing and social relationships considering future career prospects. I also enjoy advocating for families to ensure they receive the support they require.
I support a range of communication needs and my clinical specialism is stammering, working primarily with teenagers but also younger children. I have been leading the secondary school stammering service for an NHS trust for the past 3 years.
