My name is Vicky and I am an experienced Speech and Language Therapist. I trained at University College London and qualified in 2017. Since then, I have worked in acute and community hospital settings for both NHS and private healthcare providers. My previous roles have included being Clinical Lead for Speech and Language Therapy within Neurological Services. I specialise in providing communication and swallowing rehabilitation following a neurological event, such as stroke or brain injury.

I understand how living with communication and swallowing difficulties impact quality of life on a daily basis. I believe that therapy should be centred around what’s most important to you. Therefore, I will work with you to set achievable goals focusing on meaningful activities. E.g. Going out for coffee with a friend, talking to family on the phone or returning to some form of work.
