I have almost a decade of experience working as a Specialist and Highly Specialist SLT within the NHS, including leading a community neurology SLT service. I am a compassionate, responsive and effective SLT, who is self-motivated to deliver evidence-based, personalised and high quality services. I visit people in their own homes across North and West Yorkshire and also offer online sessions.

My expertise is in working with people living with progressive neurological conditions such as motor neurone disease, Parkinson’s, dementia, Huntington’s disease and MS. I also have experience working with brain tumour and stroke.

My recent training includes: Lee Silverman Voice Therapy LSVT-LOUD certification, Talking Mats certification, motivational interviewing techniques and expiratory muscle strength training in the management of swallowing difficulties.

My specialist interests are optimising and maintaining communication and swallowing function in progressive conditions, palliative care and improving SLT provision for people living with dementia.
