MSc Autism | ADOS & ADI-R Trained | Intensive Interaction Coordinator | AAC Specialist | Dyslexia Assessor (in training)
I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2009 and have dedicated my career to supporting individuals with complex communication needs across both paediatric and adult populations. With over 16 years of experience in diverse clinical, educational, and community settings, I bring specialist knowledge, compassion, and a deeply person-centred approach to my work.
My particular area of expertise lies in neurodevelopmental conditions, especially autism. I hold a Master’s degree in Autism and have completed specialist training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview–Revised (ADI-R), equipping me with robust assessment skills.
I am also a trained Intensive Interaction Coordinator and passionate advocate of this approach, using it to build meaningful connections with clients who experience profound communication challenges. I have extensive experience with Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) systems.
