Lorna specialises in supporting individuals with neurological conditions, stroke and other acquired brain injuries to overcome communication and swallowing challenges. Lorna has particular expertise working with clients with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and is a contributing author to the consensus recommendations for speech and language therapists in this clinical area.

For the last 12 years Lorna worked at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, where she developed as a Clinical Specialist. Her experience there honed skills in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of symptoms:

– Dysarthria
– Functional Speech Disorders
– Dysphagia

Lorna is passionate about empowering clients and their support networks, using evidence-based practice and the latest therapeutic techniques, to provide practical solutions that allow clients to achieve their fullest potential.
