I am a Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with over 15 years post qualification experience. I qualified in 2007 with a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy and have completed further post graduate education and training including an MSc in Advanced Dysphagia Practice.
I have worked extensively within NHS services as a clinician and a clinical lead and have held strategic, workforce and advisory positions with partner organisations. I have established close links with local, regional and national services and stakeholders.
I have worked with infants, children and adults, most extensively in learning disability, mental health and respiratory services across a range of environments including hospital, community, education and care settings. I have specialist interests in profound and multiple learning disabilities, complex dysphagia, and complex asthma and associated laryngeal dysfunction and am experienced in 1:1 consultation and therapy, formulation and care planning, group work, consultancy, training and education.
