I support people with communication difficulties such as aphasia, apraxia of speech and dysarthria. I believe in getting to know clients well so that we can find meaningful ways to move forwards and provide hope.
Since 2016 I’ve worked across the NHS stroke pathway, in community neuro-rehabilitation, and for stroke-specific charities. I work with individuals and facilitate groups. I also provide training to organisations, and enjoy co-designing workshops with people with aphasia.
I’m interested in clients’ well-being, using counselling skills to gently encourage people to re-engage with life. My approach includes supporting a client’s family members or friends, for example through Conversation Partner Training.
Please get in touch to discuss your needs. I can meet you in your home in North or Central London, throughout Hertfordshire, or online.
I look forward to hearing from you.
ASLTIP’s membership has been growing rapidly since 1989. We are a support organisation run by our members. The executive board is always grateful for new members and new ideas.
