I have spent over 15 years working with adults who have speech, language and swallowing difficulties caused by neurological disease or trauma. I offer assessment, therapy and advice to clients living with the effects of stroke, progressive neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, traumatic brain injury and cancer. I can work with clients online or in person both in the home or the workplace, focusing on therapy that reflects their priorities and their functional and professional activity.   My first career as a corporate and financial communications executive means that I can make therapy relevant to clients wishing to resume professional roles

I am accustomed to liaising with other therapists and collaborating with family/carers involved in a client’s rehabilitation to ensure that therapy goals and activity are complementary, holistic and sustainable.

I am certified in LSVT and SPEAK OUT! to support people with Parkinson’s maintain speech and swallow; I am PROMPT+ trained (to support people with apraxia) and MDTP trained (intensive swallowing treatment). I am tech literate with a wide range of interests.
