I qualified in 2005 and specialised in working with adults with communication and swallowing difficulties, most recently as a Clinical Lead in a large teaching hospital. I also specialise in facial palsy through working as the Facial Therapist for the Region.
I have a particular interest in supporting individuals with neurological conditions (such as stroke and Parkinson’s), articulatory difficulties, swallowing difficulties and facial weakness. I offer specialised LSVT used predominantly for people with Parkinson’s. All therapy plans are individualised and focused on the specific needs of that person. My mission is to make a positive difference to those I work with and the people around them. Therapy can take place at your home, work place or in the community. I can also provide training to groups or nursing homes.
ASLTIP’s membership has been growing rapidly since 1989. We are a support organisation run by our members. The executive board is always grateful for new members and new ideas.
