I have experience of working and providing training in community clinics, special schools, resourced provisions, mainstream schools, nurseries and at home. I have experience of supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism, dyspraxia, speech delay developmental language disorders. I am a Specialist in ASD (MEd. Autism). My input will aim to identify individual communication strengths and needs in pupils with Speech Language and communication difficulties and work collaboratively with parents/carers and educational settings in order to support the development of these skills. A range of different combinations of interventions are offered to suit individual clients. Interventions include; SCERTS assessment, programme and planning, Intensive Interaction, Using visuals such as PECS, Colourful Semantics and implementing visual structures such as TEACCH. Social communication and social interaction interventions and activities are designed based on specific needs. Please telephone for a discussion regarding your reasons for referral.
