I am an experienced, empathetic and passionate Speech and Language Therapist specialising in working with preschool and school aged children and their families. Your child’s enjoyment in therapy is key to our success and my therapy sessions are tailor made, fun and engaging. I pride myself in building good relationships and together we will get the best outcomes for your child. I can support your child at home, with you and within nursery/school.

Since qualifying in 2003, I have worked within the NHS supporting children with a wide range of difficulties and diagnoses, and in a number of different settings. I have supported children with language delays and disorders, speech sound / pronunciation difficulties (including dyspraxia), cleft palate, stammers, social communication and autistic spectrum disorders, global developmental delays, Down’s syndrome, social/emotional needs and challenging behaviours.

Amongst others, I have post graduate training in PROMPT, The Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme, Cleft Palate Speech Sound Disorders, Attention Autism, Intensive Interaction, Makaton signing, Supervision, Parent Child Interaction, Solution Focused Therapy, the Solihull Approach and The Lidcombe Program. I am also a certified Hanen Speech and Language Therapist for ‘More Than Words’ (The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Social Communication Difficulties).
