I’ve not tried “pay what you can” directly however the way I’ve always done it is to provide time to charities and then they ask for donations for families for the services that I provide. Last year I did a few appeal assessments through a local charity and the parents paid £5-15 each. Obviously on scale this would not feasible but I’ve always struggled with sliding scales unless I’m properly “means feasting” and maths has never been me forte.
