Thanks for your interest about the girls’ groups. I have been very lucky in establishing a relationship with a local charity, SPACE Herts, who felt there was a need for girls with neurodiverse conditions to ‘meet and connect with other girls, in a safe, fun, bespoke environment’. I have been working with them on some other projects and they asked if I would also support this group too. It’s been a fantastic learning opportunity and is informing our plans for more groups in the future to support communicative confidence and self-advocacy. However, it’s a steep learning curve – and always unnerving re-learning what you thought you already knew – so I’d be very glad to link up and share with anyone else wanting to work in this way.
