When I started working as a SLT which was sometime ago, conflict of interest was not well understood. I would have thought this is common knowledge now. NHS Trusts are entitled to have their own internal guidelines around a number of matters including private practice . From time to time they are updated. This over and above other conditions found in employment contracts, legislation, professional guidance. It’s up to every SLT to find out what they are and adhere to them.
