ASLTIP OFFICE

Makes request to ASLTIP Office for DBS by completing the below form you will then receive an invoice to pay handling fee of £10 to ASLTIP ASLTIP DBS officer inputs detail into DBS data base and member is informed by First Advantage Online Disclosures via email
ASLTIP member receives the notification to complete form on First Advantage Online Disclosures website 
If you have selected Organisation Verification – Send clear scanned documents via email to ASLTIP Office – office@asltip.com who will arrange to verify this with you via Zoom
If you have selected Post Office Verification – Take your documents to one of the listed locations to be verified – there may be an additional cost of £10 approx.
ASLTIP member receives the notification to make payment via First Advantage Online Disclosures website 

Charge of £56.60 paid by ASLTIP MEMBER to First Advantage Online Disclosure

ASLTIP office can check where the process is up to online at any time.
Applicant receives paper copy of document with ‘clear’ or ‘contains content.’ ASLTIP receive online / electronic verification DBS completed and can check at any point where the process is up to online.
ASLTIP will not receive details of the content, therefore member MUST contact the ASLTIP office and inform if the disclosure is returned ‘not clear’. A member of the exec will contact the member to discuss the content. If it impacts on practice exec member will inform HCPC / RCSLT.
Total cost: Approx £66.60

ASLTIP’s default setting is for an Enhanced Check for either adults, children or both adults and children – if you do not work with both adults and children, it is imperative that you advise which workforce you need the check for.

There is no expiry date – it is up to the organisation the member works for as to how often they should renew. The DBS service advise that DBS checks are renewed every 3 years minimum.

DBS Update Service:

  • You have 30 days to register with the DBS for the Update Service after the certificate issue date.
  • It is only when you have successfully registered with the update service that your DBS check is portable.
  • There is a registration fee of £13 for the DBS Update Service and applicants must renew their registration annually.
  • The DBS Update Service lets you keep your DBS certificates up to date online and allows employers to check a certificate status at any time.
