I graduated from Birmingham in 1988 and immediately took up an NHS post in Dudley, in the West Midlands. Here, I specialised in working with children who had a variety of speech, langauage and social interaction difficulties in Mainstream schools. I worked very closely with Special Needs Coordinators, teachers and parents, undertaking training packages for both.
I have now been working independently for 20 years as I felt I needed to work more closely with individual children and their families. I treat speech difficulties, problems with understanding, vocabulary and memory issues. I now pride myself in tailoring specific packages of care for each child. Therapy can take place in nursery, primary school or in the child’s own home. My therapy is fun, focused and family -friendly and I have a high success level.
