I am a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist with over 20 years experience working in the NHS with adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders resulting from stroke, head injury, dementia and progressive neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. I have worked in a range of inpatient, rehabilitation and community settings. I can offer specialist assessment, individualised therapy and management advice to people with communication disorders (aphasia, dysarthria and dyspraxia) and swallowing difficulties. I believe in a person centred, evidence based approach, supporting clients to achieve their own goals. I am aware how private SLT can enhance NHS provision and would be happy to work alongside colleagues in the NHS as required.
I am qualified in delivering the Lee Silverman Voice Therapy Programme.
I would work with you in your own home or remotely through video therapy if you preferred.
