I have 15 years of experience working as a Specialist SLT within the NHS, in clinic, mainstream and specialist school settings; with children from 0-16 presenting with a wide range of speech, language & communication difficulties. I can provide comprehensive assessment and tailored 1:1 therapy for your child within your own home along with advice and guidance on implementing therapy targets between sessions. In particular I have specialist experience in treating children with disordered speech and language. My interest in these areas was stimulated by rehabilitation with my eldest son who has profound hearing loss and uses a cochlear processor. Prior to working in Speech and Language Therapy I was employed for 18 years in the Education sector, as a Training Co-ordinator for young people. Further information is available on my website www.childspeech.vpweb.co.uk)
